They are now currently recruiting for a Kitchen CAD Designer to work as part of the Design Team responsible for supporting the contract sales department within the South East Region. You will be producing designs to illustrate client ideas including CGI images, product information, colour schemes and samples, project managing kitchens installations, undertaking occasional site visits and representing the company at trade shows when required.

Personal attributes will include excellent people skills, smart personal appearance, a clear and positive communicator and proven ability to meet deadlines and targets. Your qualifications and experience should consist of a design based qualification, kitchen industry knowledge and work experience using Planit, previous sales experience would be a distinct advantage. Production Specialist – Lighting

They are now looking to recruit a Production Specialist who can take on the responsibilities of managing the day-to-day relationships with suppliers, stock control and delivery schedules, providing CAD and design support on custom projects and be involved in the whole project lifecycle from concept through to installation and photography. This will also involve the installation of exhibition stands, showroom displays and photography sets.

You will need at least 4 years’ experience in the manufacture of high end decorative lighting, furniture or other high quality products, have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in CAD. Due to a steady increase in business they are now seeking two CAD technicians to support the design team in the production of drawings efficiently and to the highest professional standards reporting to the head of department. They are seeking both an experienced technician with experience preferably from their sector and a junior technician who could be a recent graduate. The main tasks of job are to create and develop schematic and equipment layouts and updates; produce services drawings from layout drawings and fabrication elevations and sections; produce builders work requirements drawings and maintain and update symbol and literature library.

You will need previous working experience of producing CAD drawings, a good understanding of Maths and English, trained in the use of AutoCAD and competent in preparing technical drawings from sketches. CAD Engineer

This leading manufacturer of ergonomic products for the office workplace are committed to environmental sustainability and continually strive to design, engineer and manufacture products that consume less of the Earths limited resources. Their current vacancy is for the UK office and showroom based in London and is for a CAD and Bills of Material Engineer. This person’s responsibilities would include the handling of all design data, measuring up fittings and components, creating CAD drawings for production and BOMs for manufacturing and the supply chain. The person would be part of the design team managing the handover of design data to production, working closely with manufacturing.

You should be SolidWorks literate with knowledge of PDM software, familiar with methods for sharing data and previous use of Oracle would be an advantage. You should also be able to create and update Bills of Materials, confident in working with product codes and handling queries from both the manufacturing and sales sides of the business.
