Kitchen Technical Designer, Surrey (Filled)

Kitchen Technical Designer, Surrey, £25,000 to £28,000, V03130


This independent kitchen studio has been established for over 30 years and offers their customers both German high quality contemporary kitchens and traditional inframed kitchens. They work in a fun relaxed atmosphere where design is the focus to all their projects. They are now seeking a Kitchen Technical Designer to work alongside the Lead Designer to create all the technical drawings and layouts for presentation and manufacture. As this is not a sales role (although there are opportunities if wanted) the working days will be Monday to Friday. The showroom is based near Godalming in Surrey.

With 3+ years’ experience designing and drawing up kitchens you’ll also be CAD literate (they have AutoCAD, ArtiCAD and Winner). You’ll need good drawing and planning skills as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. High up on the agenda will be your keenness and enthusiasm.

Kitchen Designer, London (FILLED)

This fast growing bespoke joinery / interior design and build company designs and manufactures award winning kitchens, freestanding furniture and luxury residential refurbishments. They have grown a reputation for developing innovative but practical designs, with ambitious use of materials. They are currently looking for a creative kitchen designer to initially work out of their West London showroom, but able to travel around London when needing to see clients.

The ideal candidate will be creative and passionate about fabrics, colours and interiors with 3+ years’ experience within a high-end / bespoke kitchen or furniture company. You’ll be able to build relationships with clients and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal (fluency in English is essential). CAD skills needed are AutoCAD or AutoKitchen in both 2D and 3D, as well as the ability to use Microsoft Office including Excel.

Project Co-ordinator (Part-Time), London

Our client is based in North West London and specialises in the design and supply of exclusive contemporary kitchens for private clientele, developers and hoteliers. In collaboration with one of Italy’s’ finest producers of contemporary kitchen furniture, working with a number of UK suppliers of premium branded appliances and specialist fabricators of various bespoke items, they require a Project Coordinator to manage the logistical element of the project post sale.

This role requires confidence and quick thinking, an ability to work under pressure and converse on many levels, verbal and written, with all parties involved from the contractor to the end Client. Advanced MS Excel skills and Mac knowledge are essential with drawing package skills an advantage. Ultimately the right candidate for this role will be comfortable being in charge of their role and have an eye for detail.

Day-to-day responsibilities include Coordinating projects, managing the company’s logistical requirements, administering orders, assisting designers, scheduling and managing appointments and managing showroom and studio.
