The Lead Designer’s role is to provide creative design solutions that develop the tender scheme to provide design led, industry leading commercial interiors. Partnered with a Technical Designer on each project, you will be responsible for approving their drawings, running with the project from handover, setting project bid schedules, supplier and client liaison, and supervising work on-site.

A proven track record from a consultancy background and commercial office interiors experience is essential as is the ability to pitch in a competitive situation. With a confident manner and the ability to lead the design process you’ll need to be well organised, efficient and collaborate well with team members and external teams.

A driven, creative team player with a great work ethic is what they require and literacy in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and InDesign would be an advantage.

Interior Designer, Warwickshire

This award-winning multi-disciplinary workplace interior design consultancy is based in Warwickshire, with clients throughout the UK and Europe. They are growing and looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join the team. The role is studio based and they are just a 5 minute walk from the local train station, have close links to the M40 and the benefit of secure onsite parking. Role and responsibilities include: conceptual design, working drawings, designing and detailing bespoke furniture and joinery, specifying of furniture and finishes, creating project mood and finishes boards, coordinating building services and liaising with contractors and suppliers.

With 5+ years’ experience in interior design working within commercial workplace design, you will need experience of the complete project cycle from pitch, brief through to construction. As a creative designer with a sincere interest and passion for design, you should also have good product, furniture and finishes knowledge, be commercially minded and have knowledge of building regulation standards. CAD literacy required is AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign.
