They are currently recruiting a Bespoke Design Engineer to work on bespoke orders undertaking the design, development and detailing of feasible solutions, and their associated products, for manufacture. Also providing a high level of technical advice / project support to internal and external customers which includes working closely with the customer and internal departments in establishing the feasibility and realisation of product design specifications. You will also be undertaking simulations, thermal calculations and prototyping and producing fully detailed 3D models for manufacturing purposes.

Person / Experience required:

  • Degree qualified in Product Design or Industrial Design, or similar discipline
  • 3+ years' experience working within a design environment for a technical / specialist products company
  • Experience using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
  • Experience and understanding of sheet metal fabrication and its impact on design would be beneficial
  • Have a solution based approach with strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills for the successful completion of projects
  • Good sketching skills would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, able to identify customers' needs and understand technical information

Their large purpose-built manufacturing complex is home to traditional cabinet making, veneering, carving and gilding skills, complemented by modern design, manufacturing and finishing techniques.

Experienced in all aspects of joinery manufacture and installation, they work on both classical and contemporary interiors including dressing rooms, staircases and libraries, cinemas, wine rooms and games rooms. They currently have an opening for a 3D CAD Draughtsperson to join their design and technical team.

Person / Experience Required:

  • Skilled in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks
  • At least 3 years' experience in a wood based environment - joinery, shopfitting or cabinet making
  • CNC and / or hands-on cabinet making experience would be beneficial

They are looking for an architectural designer to join them who will develop and eventually lead their design team on the build aspect of the works. In Summary to:

  • Support the internal sales department with design work to help win jobs
  • Carry out design stages of dental practices from general layouts, building regulations, construction drawings through to graphics and interior design to assist in the development of dental practices

With a busy design and engineering team they are now seeking a designer who is enthusiastic, creative and with an eye for detail. This individual will work closely with the sales team to assist with turning enquiries into concept drawings and designs that can be costed before gaining the client’s approval.

The successful applicant will be responsible for detailing standard, tailored and bespoke products for customer approval and manufacture. This will involve liaising with customers, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure all solutions are in order, to secure future projects, the applicant will also liaise with the Sales Team to generate CAD models, space plans, 2D drawings and concept imagery in response to their customers’ specific requirements.


Person / Experience Required:

  • 2+ years' experience from the furniture / interiors sector
  • Furniture or Product Design degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good concept design and 3D modelling abilities
  • A high level of initiative and organisational ability would be expected with good interpersonal skills

They are currently recruiting for a Design Estimator who will be responsible for raising quotations for the purpose of pricing up unique items custom made in-house in their North London atelier workshops.

You will need to collect and analyse data in order to estimate the time and materials required to manufacture a product. Responsible for issuing quotations to the Sales Team you will work closely with the company Creative Director with an emphasis on retaining the integrity, quality and exclusivity of company designs. As the Design Estimator you will need to ensure clear instruction for feasible manufacturing processes and accurate purchasing information is conveyed to enable made-to-order pieces are produced within specification according to budgeted costs.

Person / Experience Required:

  • Experience to include estimating / costing and design within manufacturing of interior products for the luxury goods design sector
  • Ideally 5 years plus experience
  • Detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and costs
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
  • Analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English, with excellent communication and presentation skills

They are currently seeking an experienced draughtsperson to work with the Technical Design Manager to define the best methods to use in the creation of individual items, using hand sketches; 2D and 3D CAD software in the process, prior to turning the designs into a set of engineering drawings for manufacture. The role also involves preparing bills of materials to be sourced and ordered and occasionally working hands-on to assemble furniture parts within their carpeted studios for client meetings or photography.

Person / Experience Required:

  • A good working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software
  • Excellent knowledge of bespoke furniture making and construction
  • Ability to plan and schedule your own work to meet project requirements
