An interior visual artist with superb freehand drawing and watercolour rendering ability is required for this busy design studio, supplying quality interiors to high end residencies throughout Scotland.

Our client has an award winning showroom and creates stunning bespoke home interiors  for bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices and studies, media and entertainment rooms as well as creating luxurious bathroom furniture. Providing support to their designers, you will be producing high quality illustrations and visual information for presentation to their clients.

Interested candidates should send their current CV and a small portfolio of work, showcasing relevant illustration skills. This is a permanent position and salary will be in line with experience.

They are looking to recruit a 3D photo realistic visualizer, with an eye for detail and image composition and with a working knowledge of the fundamentals of 3D product visualisation. The applicant should possess all the necessary skills to produce highly accurate 3D representations of products or interior schemes to show the products off in their best light. Able to use industry standard 3D software and a working knowledge of global illumination is essential.

They will also need excellent hand visualization skills such as sketching and marker rendering. A self-starter you will need effective communication skills, good interpersonal skills, meticulous and be thoroughly organised. Qualified in Product / Industrial Design you will also need an understanding of a wide variety of materials and manufacturing processes, with a confident and assertive approach to work.

This company designs, plans and installs contemporary interiors for the corporate sector handling everything from minor refits to major renovations. Established back in the 90's they work worldwide and also handle industrial and private healthcare projects. Based in Hertfordshire within easy access to both the M25 and A1, they are looking to recruit an experienced Interior Designer to be actively involved with the clients from concept through to installation.

To have D & B experience would be ideal, but not absolutely necessary, 5+ years’ experience of designing commercial workspace environments is however absolutely necessary. Knowledge of architecture would be beneficial as they also take on exterior work and you should be able to “hit the ground running”. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D Max for visualising would be a bonus. There are fantastic career prospects on offer and the responsibility of a growing department.

This company offers modern designs with traditional manufacturing. All their kitchens, bedrooms, media centres and home studies are manufactured to high standards at their factory in Lancashire. At their showrooms in Cheshire and Lancashire (with another one in the pipeline) they have an extensive collection of displays, worktops, appliances and accessories and work with the middle to upper end of the marketplace. They are currently looking for an experienced Kitchen and Bedroom surveyor to check designs and plans against house layouts and modify where necessary (they use ArtiCAD), communicate with the customers and factory, place orders with suppliers and factory using Easyquote, coordinate delivery and installation and perform material cost analysis on a regular basis.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with excellent product industry knowledge along with general building, electrics and plumbing. They must be organised and proactive in their approach to daily tasks with a strong leadership quality. Site surveys will be required so a reliable car and full driving licence is essential.

This will include material and component specifications and the production of prototypes and drawings as necessary to suit brief.

Competent in 3D software with good 3D visualisation ability and 2D CAD experience, you will also have to demonstrate an astute sense of commercial awareness and confidence in the skills of negotiation. Experience in cabinet vision software and an understanding of MRP systems would be beneficial and a high level of attention to detail a prerequisite. A proven track record in a similar role would be advantageous.

This food service industry design and build specialist provides a total package of design, fit out and installation within the hospitality sector including interiors, bars, furniture and tableware. They are currently recruiting for an Interior Designer for approximately 10 month maternity cover and may become a possible permanent position for the right candidate.

They currently have a vacancy for a Product Designer and duties will involve taking rough sketches from their clients and developing creatively into drawings and photo-realistic visuals, producing technical drawings for every component within design, ready for manufacture and researching materials and off the shelf parts to use within designs to keep costs down.

With a Product Design related degree you will need at least 1 years’ work experience and a creative approach to design, able to understand brand ethos and styling. Proficient in Sketchup and / or SolidWorks, you will also need a strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes and understanding of costs involved in processes. Hand sketching ability is desirable.
