They create furniture, storage systems and fit outs for both educational and commercial clients and their own brand is recognised as one of the leading educational storage systems in the UK.

The company has ambitious plans for further development and to help this they are in in need of a recent graduate who is self-motivated, asks questions and can action ideas creatively. Being smart, savvy and intelligent will outweigh industry experience.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator role will involve:

  • Marketing outreach by various methods (phone, email mainly) to get appointments with new customers. New appointments generated would be your main KPI.
  • Pushing deals through the pipeline once generated.
  • Liaising with existing clients.
  • Creation of strategic marketing communications / resources.
  • Contributing to new company developments, products and offerings to help give them the edge.


The Sales & Marketing Coordinator should have:

  • A hunger to get new appointments and new sales.
  • Determination to succeed.
  • Creativity combined with desire.

This leading bathroom retailer creates award-winning bathroom designs and has built up an impressive collection of showrooms nationwide. Famed for designing bespoke, luxury bathroom spaces, their designers embrace the challenge of creating unique luxury bathrooms that are tailored to each individual client.

They are now looking for a Junior Bathroom Designer who will be based in their North West London showroom. You will be trained to take the client through the bathroom design process from the initial enquiry, design consultation, a home visit to take precise measurements and the final order process. Your hand drawing skills will be very important for customer presentations and they seek an individual with a great personality and potential to sell as well as design.

Further skills required for the Junior Bathroom Designer:

  • Design studies, ideally a degree or diploma
  • Being creative, personable and have good problem solving skills
  • Ideally having some experience of working in a retail showroom
  • Being self-motivated with a strong determination to succeed
  • Ability to multi task and work on several projects at any one time
  • Being well presented and a confident communicator

In return the Junior Bathroom Designer will receive a basic salary of £18k plus commission (2% of sales) and an annual bonus (1% if targets are met) and continuous personal development.

Having just moved to a new centrally located showroom they are seeking an additional designer to help grow the team.

This role would suit a designer who has already had exposure to this marketplace and understands how important attention to detail is. It will be a client facing role so your presence, communication and interpersonal skills will be important. Regular travel to clients, trade shows and to visit Head Office in Italy will be expected so being able to speak Italian is important.

There will be excellent chances of progression as they are still growing their coverage of the UK marketplace.

This company designs and supplies clients spanning the Globe with bespoke luxury items for the hotel and hospitality marketplace. Their specialism is in the design and production of products made in a variety of materials ranging from wood, stone, leather, glass, metal, resin and melamine.

The duties of the Business Account Executive involve establishing relationships with new clients who have new orders to process, whilst managing the needs of existing clients. The emphasis of the role is providing an ongoing service package for clients. You will be the first point of contact for clients when they have an order that needs to be processed. As the Business Account Executive, you will follow all orders from the start until they have been delivered to the client's site. Due to the nature of clients it is extremely important that the post holder has an excellent understanding of the luxury world of five-star hotels and restaurants.

Requirements and skills needed for the Business Account Executive:

  • Able to work closely with procurement, product design and transport departments to meet the needs of clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The nature of any given sales job will depend very much on the parent company and how it operates. With some, their products are designed with a mass market appeal, and the role of the sales team is to encourage wholesalers and retailers to purchase in bulk orders and often liaising with the supply chain on pricing policies.

With other companies, what you will be selling is the ability of their creative team. You will be there in the field, promoting the company as their ambassador, convincing other businesses that they should take your company on as designers for a given project. These meetings can be crucial for the success of your business because, while the minutiae of the deal will be thrashed out by a project or commercial manager the principles of the agreement are established by you and your team as a way of getting your collective feet in the door.

Successful applicants will be expected to be engaging and determined, ideally with a track record of success in the area of sales. They will need to demonstrate a knowledge of the design sector and to be able to pitch them convincingly to a third party. Despite not being part of the design team, knowledge of the design process will be an advantage.
