This company designs and makes of the finest quality bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture and architectural joinery. Everything they design is completely bespoke, and their team of designers, cabinet-makers, project managers and fitters are all dedicated to making furniture of the topmost quality, delivered with outstanding service, discretion and integrity.

They are now seeking a Furniture Designer to design bespoke projects from a client brief, but as it is all about the individual and their capabilities then they might consider instead a more junior designer or production engineer. If this were the case then additional training and support can be provided.

This is a role for an individual who thrives on attention to detail and excels creatively. The successful candidate will be fluent in interior space planning and the design of fitted furniture, kitchens and bathrooms with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in high-end design projects. You will need the ability to manage project financials, obtain quotations and manage external suppliers such as bespoke metal work and stone suppliers. You’ll need good knowledge of historical furniture and architectural details as well as a flair for contemporary design.

Other skills required include a basic knowledge of building structure, mechanical / electrical services and site surveys. You’ll need to be AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficient with good literacy and communication skills, both verbal and written. If your skills are less creative then strong AutoCAD, SketchUp and / or Inventor will be needed to match a more technical role.

Kitchen Designer, London (FILLED)

This fast growing bespoke joinery / interior design and build company designs and manufactures award winning kitchens, freestanding furniture and luxury residential refurbishments. They have grown a reputation for developing innovative but practical designs, with ambitious use of materials. They are currently looking for a creative kitchen designer to initially work out of their West London showroom, but able to travel around London when needing to see clients.

The ideal candidate will be creative and passionate about fabrics, colours and interiors with 3+ years’ experience within a high-end / bespoke kitchen or furniture company. You’ll be able to build relationships with clients and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal (fluency in English is essential). CAD skills needed are AutoCAD or AutoKitchen in both 2D and 3D, as well as the ability to use Microsoft Office including Excel.

Senior FF&E Designer, London

They are currently seeking a Senior FF&E Designer with an eye for colour and design to work on all the FF&E elements of large scale international residential projects. You’ll need to be from an Arts or Design background (textile / interior design / arts degree) with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant industry experience to include international projects. With excellent organization, administration, presentation and communication skills you’ll also have a comprehensive knowledge of suppliers including Chelsea Harbour.

Interior Designer, Gloucestershire

This boutique design practice creates elegant interiors for their clients that make everyday living comfortable, engaging and inspirational. They are currently looking to recruit an Interior Designer at a mid to senior level who can run their own projects and be client facing.

The right candidate will need at least 4 years’ experience (6+ years’ would be preferable) on high-end residential projects, have a good knowledge of FF&E and be proficient in AutoCAD and Photoshop. You’ll be able to conceptualise, put together detailed working drawings and collate supporting documentation as well as having strong presentation skills. Able to project manage, you’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to manage budgets and problem solve. Knowledge of furniture design would also be preferable.
