This London based high quality bespoke joinery and cabinetmakers provide a complete service from concept through to manufacture and installation. Most of their projects are residential and with an increase in larger projects they are very busy and an additional member for the team. As a Furniture Technician you will need to have a background in fitted furniture / joinery construction, time spent in a workshop would be beneficial as would some experience of interfacing with CNC machines. You will be required to produce a high standard of detailed technical drawings and liaise with the workshop and client.

You’ll have 3+ years’ experience of joinery / fitted furniture and fluency in CAD is a must, they currently use AutoCAD and SketchUp but they are open to bringing in a different package for the right candidate as they want someone to hit the ground running with minimum training. You’ll possess good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines as well as being punctual, reliable, a good team player but also self-sufficient.

This company design, build and install bars and work with many of the UK’s leading operators as well as overseas. They specialise in two core areas, namely the design and build of the stainless equipment behind the bar and full build for the bar including tops and front and back bar fittings. They are looking for a dynamic 3D product / furniture designer to work on a broad range of bar projects including restaurant, hotel, leisure and high-end bar design, liaising with site trades and suppliers and bringing fresh ideas and a can do attitude to the design and development process.

You’ll be either a recent 3D design, product design, furniture design or interior design graduate with work experience or have up to 2 years’ experience in industry. Experience with detailing and producing drawings for manufacture is required hence 2D and 3D CAD skills are vital, they use AutoCAD / Archicad and Solidworks. You’ll have an understanding of ergonomic design and a detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and finishes.
