Inspired by the beauty and precision of historical detail and experienced in the use of modern materials and techniques, our client is an award-winning maker of bespoke furniture and architectural joinery for residential projects.

Their clients expect a thoroughly professional approach with outstanding design solutions, products and service. In this role you will therefore need to demonstrate a flair for creative solutions with both design and practicality in mind. You will need to have a fine eye and attention to detail and be extremely thorough in the design and delivery of your projects.

You will be working alongside another sales designer project managing each job up to the point it is handed over to the factory and the Installations Manager. This will include all client correspondence up until the job is nearing completion in the factory.

Skills and Experience sought for the Sales Designer role:

  • A knowledge of timber, timber technology, wood veneers, wood finishes / techniques, cabinet making and joinery construction methods
  • A knowledge of quality kitchen appliances, work surfaces and sanitary ware would be beneficial
  • Minimum 4 years' kitchen sales and design experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • CAD user preferable

Salary and Benefits package:

Salary: £38k to £42k plus uncapped commission OTE £60k to £80k plus private medical and dental insurance, company pension, and regular company events.

As an Upholstery Product Developer, you’ll bring creative ideas to life - turning concepts into high-quality, commercially viable products. Collaborating with international design studios and working hands-on in the workshop, you’ll play a key role in every stage of development, from prototype to production.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and refine prototypes, testing comfort, ergonomics, and durability.
  • Source, test, and evaluate upholstery materials, foams, and finishes that meet design and sustainability goals.
  • Carry out upholstery work in the workshop when needed.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly from sampling through to production.
  • Continuously improve existing product ranges and explore new opportunities for innovation.

About You

  • Proven experience in upholstery and pattern cutting.

Lead Interior Designer - Warwickshire - up to £45,000 (V04250)

Our client designs imaginative hospitality environments for major brands and chains and are currently developing the team to allow for business expansion. This has resulted in the creation of two Lead Interior Designer opportunities. These roles will be working across all brands and clients supporting the Design Managers on day-to-day tasks and projects.

The roles will be a hybrid working, 3 days at home and 2 days in the office, working as part of a team and also independently. Your main projects will be brand roll-out programmes within the retail and hospitality sectors, in particular food & beverage.

Working from its base in Gloucestershire, where it has a showroom and a manufacturing facility, the company emphasizes the use of traditional printing techniques along with AVA CAD/CAM to produce their wallpapers and fabrics. They operate vertically ensuring control from initial contact through to final print.

Looking ahead and their plans for growth, they have identified the need to bring in a Deputy Design Director. As the right hand to the Creative Director, you will play a key role in managing projects and collections, keeping up the momentum and introducing a more organised and seamless design process. You will be ensuring that design output meets the highest standards of creativity, innovation, and usability. As this is a newly created role it will evolve around the successful candidate’s skillset.

You will be working as part of a team on both UK and international projects from concept through to completion across all project phases. Projects will be innovative and luxurious high-end designs for the residential market, boutique hotels and the high-net-worth clientele.

The main duties will include: 

  • Creating CAD technical drawing packages
  • Producing detailed internal architectural drawings
