Our client is a bespoke business creating contemporary and heritage lighting crafted by artisans for residences, hotels, superyachts and restaurants.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned projects, with a view to improving internal efficiency, increased margins and external customer satisfaction.

Other duties will be:

  • Preparing and implementing a structure project plan
  • Defining the resource requirements and ensuring the team has the correct support required
  • Managing and monitoring the project plan and budgets
  • Managing stakeholders and liaising with design, production, customers, sales and purchasing
  • Coordinating the placing of supplier orders
  • Ensuring all products are market competitive and meet customer needs
  • Driving improvements and efficiencies through review of project management performance

Skills and experience needed for the Project Manager:

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience to include project management
  • Excellent planning and organising skills

In return:

As an Interior Designer, you'll be helping ensure seamless project coordination for all the interior design aspects of projects. The amazing initial project you will be involved in is in the heart of London, a luxury hotel, hospitality and residential development requiring the finest of materials and finishes, heritage detailing and a creative eye for design.


Key Responsibilities for the Interior Designer:

  • Collaborating with the team to see the complete design through from concept to installation on site
  • Handling suppliers, assisting in selecting materials, finishes, colours, and furnishings
  • Managing external designers, architects and contractors
  • Providing updates to the client, advising and looking for solutions when needed 
  • Regularly visiting project sites to assess progress, addressing issue, and ensuring design intent is being realised during construction


Skills and Experience required from the Interior Designer:

  • Practical with good problem-solving skills

Our client specialises in Experiential Design, Production and Installation and are proud to count large brands and leading marketing agencies amongst their clients.

Their Production Team works both in the production workshop and onsite as directed by Workshop Manager. They are currently seeking an individual who can support in all aspects of production build, general workshop responsibilities and on-site work as required. This role also acts as an Assistant to the Workshop Manager.

This is a hands-on role with tasks which includes prop making, CAD drawing, carpentry, metalworking, spray painting, scenic finishes, paint management, general production build, CAD interpretation, CNC & Laser cutter operation, vinyling, installation crewing, lead carpenter, sanding, filling & finishing.

The role includes development of practical skills including scenic, LX, sound & electronics and working in line with the Company sustainability policy, ensuring minimising wastage and organising off cuts of production material for use on subsequent jobs. Health & Safety compliance is essential as is quality control for all projects.

This position is based on a 42.5 hour week with a salary of £28k to £35k dependent on experience and skill level plus BUPA Medical & EATP and Pension.


Skills and Experience needed for the Production Team role:

  • Ability to perform practical tasks in the workshop
  • Strong carpentry and construction skills, ideally to include set build and props
  • Knowledge of paint & materials for scenic painting
  • Able to communicate effectively including with subcontractors
  • To be organised and understand the need to meet deadlines
  • Have a sustainable approach to working at all times
  • Able to hold high levels of attention to detail and quality control

You will be part of a strong Design Team, producing all necessary design and technical documentation, as well as assisting Project Managers, to ensure project delivery.

Responsibilities of the Product Designer:

  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and the in-house team
  • Sharing knowledge of product in definition, design, manufacture and supply
  • Using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for rapid turnaround of deliverables
  • Quality control checks and attending snagging meetings

They are now currently looking for a CAD Technician to produce Sales Drawings using Autodesk Revit for bespoke high-end joinery for 6 to 12 months’ maternity cover. Skills and experience sought for the CAD Furniture Technician:

  • You must be computer literate, proficient with AutoCAD and ideally Revit. Full training will be provided for the right candidate which may include a period of working alongside their current CAD Technician as required

Our client is a well-established, family-owned UK independent manufacturer of products and furniture for the home. They have multiple brands, enabling them to appeal to a wide range of tastes with customers including, architects, designers, specifiers, retailers, hospitality, private and social housing providers and the end consumer.

They are currently looking for an experienced Product Prototype Developer / Model Maker with excellent joinery and carpentry skills and woodworking machine experience to make prototype models using Timber, MDF, Metal, Resin, Gel Coats, Casting / Tooling Resins and Fibre Glass.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the development department, mainly in product development, rather than mass production. The candidate will also have input into the final design of the product to help to ensure ease of manufacture.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with the development department, working from technical drawings and resolving technical problems
  • To use your workshop skills to make prototype and production moulds
  • You will work closely with the design department to assist in the design of new products or modifications to existing designs, from detailed component design to full assembly
  • Communicate with Management / Directors to provide information on project status and expected completion dates
  • Liaise with other workshop staff and designers to carry out work
  • Continually seek to improve both personal and workshop capabilities


Skills and Experience needed for the Product Prototype Developer  / Model Maker:

  • Ability to use standard machine shop tools such as hand and portable power tools, within a workshop environment
  • Experience and understanding of resin casting process
  • Ideally experienced in rubber mould making and of painting 
  • Creativity, imagination and a willingness to adapt to different techniques and use of materials
  • Knowledge of Electronic Components, Timber & Metal Fabrication also useful
  • Good numeracy skills (calculating weights etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft products-to create guides for handover to production
  • Good communication skills, organised and a strong team player with a high standard of attention to detail
