Often featured in art and interior design magazines, this highly prestigious design studio count many serious art collectors as their clients. Their experience covers both historical and contemporary interiors, bespoke furniture, lighting and pieces of artwork celebrating artisan crafts and the finest materials.

With a production and technical design studio on site, they are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the design and production process including suppliers, costs and logistics. This is a new role and they are looking for a candidate who will make it their own.

This forward-thinking person will need to understand what is required to work at the top end of the luxury sector and be able to spot any potential problems or delays before they occur. They work with clients who demand the highest quality and specification and their closely knit team are all experts in each of their various fields and passionate about their work.

You will be managing projects throughout the business, from order to installation, making sure all milestones are met and finances adhered to.

Person / Experience Required:

  • Project management experience at the luxury end of the furniture / interiors marketplace
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all departments
  • Able to work with a high level of craftsmanship
  • Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of project financials
  • Management of suppliers to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and to required budgets
  • IT literate and familiar with driving a spreadsheet
  • Ability to read CAD drawings would be an advantage

This vibrant design and build company create and fit out bespoke high impact office interiors and seek a creative Interior Designer to join their successful design team based at their Head Office in West Sussex but there will be occasional travel to the London office.

The candidate needs to have a strong work ethic, as well as being able to work closely with the rest of the team. They need to be organised and capable of working on several different projects at a time showing their flexibility within their role. The role will include but not be limited to: space planning using AutoCAD, concept generating including mood boards sketches and visuals, site surveying, general project admin.

Person / Experience Required:

  • At least one year of interior design industry experience, either carried out as a placement or a post graduate position within the commercial sector
  • AutoCAD literacy is essential and experience of the Adobe Creative Suite a distinct advantage
  • Good hand drawing and sketching skills are needed
  • SketchUp and 3D visualisation skills will be beneficial

They are looking for someone to add their creative skills and provide space planning and technical product support.   • The production of creative and inspiring 3D interior design proposals using Pcon Planner
  • Up-to-date industry colour and product trends to ensure the space planning team are creating interesting and relevant content for clients

Person / Experience Required:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role for an in-house design team in a growing, ambitious business. You will lead a multidisciplinary design team, providing support to the product design and 3D visualisation teams.

The role will be challenging, varied and exciting, and suited to someone with a creative yet analytical mind that is comfortable managing products through the full product lifecycle, from concept, through manufacturing to product launch. It is a role where rolling your sleeves up and making things happen is key, and where a strong commercial mindset is extremely important.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Researching current design trends, client preference and undertaking competitor analysis
  • Responsible, in conjunction with the senior management team, for the implementation of new product development and launch
  • Undertaking commercial reviews of new product lines
  • Instigating and undertaking research into materials and processes in order to enhance the quality, safety and cost effectiveness of products
  • Leading, line managing and motivating the Product Design and Artwork teams
  • Providing internal training and inductions for new starters, as well as regular product training for the sales team to ensure excellent portfolio knowledge
  • Ensuring all products are compliant with the relevant test standards
  • Leading supplier negotiations on prices and purchasing terms

Person / Experience Required:

  • Degree qualified in Industrial Design / Product Design and a track record in technical product design
  • Fully creative and confident in project managing all that is encompassed in the product design process
  • Experience within the play sector would be an advantage but not necessity
  • APMP or Prince 2 Training would also be preferred but not a necessity
  • The ability to manage the delivery of a number of complex projects simultaneously, thriving under pressure
  • Commercially aware with a with strong presentation and communication skills
  • An excellent knowledge of materials and industrial manufacturing processes
  • Excellent data handling and analysis skills
  • A full, clean driving licence and the willingness to travel if required
  • SolidEdge or SolidWorks and ideally 3D Studio Max
  • Adobe Creative Suite 3 or later (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat)

The successful candidate will have experience in efficiently and successfully working from inception to completion for a minimum of 5 years to include high-end private residential projects.

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for carrying out property surveys, specifying appropriate furnishings, sourcing furniture, fabrics and accessories within the given lead time and budget. You will be confident in presenting your design schemes with clients in a variety of formats to illustrate your proposals to them. Clients will be mainly from the Home Counties and London.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Attending site and client meetings
  • Measuring and estimating for curtains, blinds, poles and tracks
  • Creation of schemes, sourcing fabrics / furniture/ lighting etc., producing presentation boards, liaising with suppliers and the client
  • Producing schedules and scope of works
  • Producing project quotes for the client
  • Placing and confirming orders with suppliers
  • Project management, including liaising with architects, contractor's trades and the client

Skills sought:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling) and procurement
  • Able to produce mood boards
  • Excellent measuring skills and technical knowledge
  • Proven experience in dealing with suppliers and contractors
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and visual and must be numerate
  • Self-motivated and good team player, able to work quickly and efficiently in an organised manner to meet deadlines
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience with VectorWorks and ACE would be an advantage as would good freehand skills


Hours will be 39.5 (including alternate Saturdays) and salary is negotiable for the right person and dependant on experience.

This family run business produce and deliver a diverse range of sets and props for events, product launches, exhibitions, sampling campaigns and experiential marketing projects with high levels of customer service and quality finish. Their in-house services include event design and production, project management, spray finishing, sewing and costume, operations, logistics and storage. They also love dogs and have a special dog creche on site.

As the Workshop Manager you will be responsible for the full end to end production build for all projects - taking the lead on production builds from brief through to delivery. Managing the workshop space, outside yard and storage containers you will oversee a sub contract production team which can vary in size from 1 to 20, depending on each project.

Person / Experience Required:

  • Ideally from a theatrical or exhibition background with experience in production of a broad range of sets, props and modular units, at a senior level
  • Adaptable, flexible with an accommodating attitude
  • An understanding of the ever changing demands of high-end brands is essential
  • Strong leadership and production skills and able to work under pressure with often tight deadlines
  • Experience with software including AutoCAD / SketchUp would be an added benefit
  • Qualification or experience in health and safety compliance and buildings maintenance would be an added benefit but is not essential

This individual will work closely with the sales and design team to assist with turning enquiries into concept drawings and designs that can be costed before gaining the client’s approval.

The successful applicant will be responsible for producing SolidWork drawings and modeling of standard, tailored and bespoke products for customer approval and manufacture. This will involve liaising with customers, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure all design solutions are in order, the designer will also be generating space plans, 2D drawings, some graphics and concept imagery in response to their customers’ specific requirements.

For the right person there will be an opportunity to be involved in new product development as well.


Person / Experience Required:
