This bespoke interior design and build company, creates award winning kitchens, freestanding furniture and luxury residential refurbishments. Their client base is mostly in London and with high-end prime properties.

They currently have two showrooms, with a third opening later this year and a new role has arisen out of their growing business to work from their Head Office in South West London. This role is for a Bathroom Product Specifier working closely with one of the directors sourcing and specifying bathroom products, tiling and flooring; designing bathrooms; liaising and maintaining contact with suppliers; presenting and selling the new products in-house to the showroom and sales team; visiting customers in their homes.

Person / Experience Required:

  • Previous experience within the bathroom retail sector
  • Knowledge with bathroom products to include tiling and flooring
  • Able to handle suppliers and keep up to date with this marketplace
  • Creative, able to respond to customers' needs
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

They are currently recruiting for a Production Assistant for a fixed 6 month contract to assist in the smooth running of day to day duties, to help ensure pieces are within budget and within quoted lead times, to be responsible for stock orders and component stock and maintain a good working relationship with the workshops.

Person / Experience Required:

  • An interior design or furniture design qualification an advantage
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop an advantage
  • Immaculate attention to detail
  • Driving licence

With an increase in business an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Interior Designer and an Interior Design graduate to work above their Showroom as part of a fun, small, successful and dynamic team working on both residential and showhomes.

For the senior role, you should come with a proven strong background of experience in interior design for private residential, developers and show home clients, having led and managed successful projects. Furthermore, a strong FF&E experience across a broad spectrum of price points is important along with strong spatial awareness skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be expected to provide background evidence of confidently leading and project managing from inception through to completion. You will also need a strong knowledge of working with fabrics, including designing, measuring and carrying out quotations and proposals.

For the junior role, the ideal candidate should come with a proven strong interest in interior design for private residential, developers and show home clients, having perhaps assisted in successful projects. The successful candidate should be highly organised, coordinated with a great passion for elegant and chic high-end design. Strong attention to detail is important. While this role is a junior position they are looking for a designer who is willing to be hands on and get involved, take on responsibility and use their initiative to ensure every project is given the best creative response possible. Training will be provided through specific job experience.

  • Qualification in Interior Design
  • Numerate and IT literate, proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
