Senior Interior Architect - Berkshire - up to £50,000 (V04022)

Our client is a privately owned, luxury residential developer specialising in bespoke homes in the Home Counties who is seeking a Senior Interior Architect to join the team. 
 
As Senior Interior Architect you will be working mainly with their private clients leading the design on forthcoming projects. They are seeking somebody with expertise in high-end residential development who would be responsible for projects from concept / planning stages through to completion. Projects would cover all aspects of interior architecture and specification including floor plans, kitchens, bathrooms, dressing areas, interior joinery, specialist wall coverings and ceilings. You will be working with clients, dealing with trades and contractors and managing all procurement for the projects including independent and pro-active sourcing of goods.

Skills and Experience sought for the Senior Interior Architect:
  • At least 7 years' experience in high-end residential design to include the house building sector
  • Strong technical knowledge with ideally a degree in Architecture
  • Project management skills from initial concept through to installation and completion
  • Sense of style, quality, colour and proportion
  • Knowledge and experience of suppliers, products and materials
  • Site experience working and co-ordinating with contractors
  • Excellent skills in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, MS Office
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and presentation skills
 
Salary and Benefits for the Senior Interior Architect:
In return there is a competitive salary on offer (£40k to £50k) plus bonus (up to 20% based upon company and personal performance), laptop, phone and 32 days' paid holiday (including bank holidays). Interior Architect - London - up to £45,000 (V04021)

This Architectural and Interior Design Company has a strong reputation within the residential and property development marketplace for both private clients and for developers and also run their own separate interiors showroom. They currently have opening for a Senior Interior Architect to join their team based in NW London.
 
As Interior Architect you will be working on projects from concept stage, through the detailed design stage to completion. The ideal candidate will be happy to work on technical/construction drawings, kitchen, bathrooms, tiling, spatial layouts, specifications such us doors, ironmongery, coffers, etc, stairs, fireplaces. All focused on high-end residential and developer projects, meeting the end-users’ lifestyle, budgets and aspirations. 
 
 
Experience sought for the Interior Architect:
  • AutoCAD fluency (Revit an advantage)
  • Good experience to include luxury residential
  • Strong spatial planning and interior detailing ability
  • Good Project Management skills
  • Confident in client-facing and leading a project from start to finish
  • Well-presented and personable, with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Own car to visit clients is preferred
Salary and Benefits:
 
Salary will be between £35k and £45k dependant on experience - with end of year performance related bonus. There is also a staff discount scheme and Company Pension, 23 days holiday plus public holidays.
Although the company is very busy, there will still be time for drinks, fun lunches, theatre/activity night and of course, the annual Christmas staff do!

Furniture Technician / Draughtsperson - Norfolk - up to £40,000 (V04020)

This British Company manufactures beautiful bespoke furniture, cabinetry and specialist joinery work for a global network of clients. Their large purpose-built manufacturing complex is home to traditional cabinet making, veneering, carving and gilding skills, complemented by modern design, manufacturing and finishing techniques.
 
Projects include dressing rooms, staircases and libraries, cinemas, wine rooms and games rooms and they are currently looking for an experienced Furniture Technician to join this team. Depending on level of experience they are also open to remote working with occasional visits to the office.
 
The main responsibilities for the Furniture Technician will include to:
  • Develop the client brief into technical and production drawings and renders
  • Ensure the product is engineered and designed for manufacture and assembly
  • Ensure drawing accuracy and presentation meets the required standard
  • Ensure drawings are published on time and drawing approvals are pursued to program
  • Survey and template site work as required and undertake pre installation checks
  • Review works in progress and prior to delivery for quality and conformance to drawings
 
Skills and Experience sought for the Furniture Technician role:
  • Skilled in 3D CAD using SolidWorks
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a wood based environment - Joinery, shop fitting or cabinet making
  • CNC and or cabinet making experience would be beneficial
  • Good interpersonal skills to create effective working relationships
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
 
Salary and Benefits:
In return the salary will be £30k to £40k plus profit share scheme, contribution to pension and long service additional holiday.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Interior Designer:

  • Liaising with the supply chain for design development, procurement, quotes, stock etc.

Skills and experience required for the Senior Interior Designer:
  • Experience working in a similar supervisory Interior Design role

  • Conversant with Microsoft Office, Adobe CS, AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • An understanding of the whole design process from brief to completion

The Design Manager role is to work directly with a luxury automotive client to support them with creating and developing their corporate and visual identity standards across their wider businesses, providing them with deliverable design solutions. They offer flexible working arrangements either hybrid or remote.
Key Responsibilities for the Design Manager (CI):
  • Responsible for the quality of the Corporate and Visual Identity guidelines and how they are applied across all projects within their portfolio
  • Providing architectural guidance so that all projects comply with their Corporate and Visual Identity guidelines
  • Providing recommendations on architectural drawings and design schemes
  • Supporting the development of any updates to their Corporate and Visual Identity manual
  • Support and guidance on the design intent pack process and managing the approvals process
  • Developing and maintaining a tracking system for the projects and drawings reviewed
  • Liaising with key regional and market stakeholders
  • Managing compliance of facility plans, advising globally and locally where appropriate

Skills and Experience required for the Design Manager (CI):
  • Client-focussed with excellent client management skills
  • Experience already gained managing clients and in a similar commercial interiors marketplace
  • Fully proficient in design software, such as 2D AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp
  • Flexible in approach and willing to travel, including outside of the UK as required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills, focused and the ability to multi-task, prioritise projects and meet deadlines in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in 3D Studio Max, Revit and Adobe Illustrator would be desirable
