Senior Interior Designer - London - up to £45,000 (V03806)

Due to an internal promotion they are currently searching for a confident Senior Interior Designer to join their Design team. This is a permanent, full-time role, starting as soon as possible.

The Senior Designer will be providing design solutions from initial brief to handover of a project and all stages in between. A trustworthy and safe pair of hands is required as a large portion of their upcoming work will be delivering on some of their latest and largest business wins to date.

The main responsibilities of the Senior Interior Designer include to:

  • Take and question briefs and then develop them into a design schemes
  • Keep abreast of new products including features and benefits for future specification
  • Utilise knowledge through design process to improve saleability and cost margins
  • Use experience and knowledge to aid furniture specification singularly or within team groups
  • Provide space plans to aid the specification, procurement and installation processes
  • Create visuals and presentations to aid the sales / tender process
  • Keep abreast of IT innovations and update / manage in-house IT issues
  • Retain and improve relations with suppliers

Candidates must have proven experience and records of winning and working on large projects. They must have commercial office interior experience and have worked on projects c£1m plus. Proficiency on AutoCAD, PowerPoint, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop will be essential. The Senior Interior Designer will be a confident individual who can take the lead. Along with a strong passion about design and delivery, a proactive, dedicated and ambitious attitude is sought. They are now looking for a Junior Bathroom Designer who will be based in their North West London showroom. You will be trained to take the client through the bathroom design process from the initial enquiry, design consultation, a home visit to take precise measurements and the final order process. Your hand drawing skills will be very important for customer presentations and they seek an individual with a great personality and potential to sell as well as design.

Further skills required for the Junior Bathroom Designer:

  • Design studies, ideally a degree or diploma
