This is an exciting opportunity to join a flourishing Nottingham based company specialising in the design, manufacture and retail of furniture, lighting and interior accessories.

The company is offering a new interior design service throughout the UK - working directly with developers and builders to create show homes and furnish investment / rental units and are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join the team and be responsible for this service.

This role requires an experienced, confident professional to design and dress interiors, manage clients and projects and seek new business opportunities. Additional duties may include the design and upkeep of the showroom(s) and planning, managing and styling photoshoots.

The ideal candidate will be university qualified with an art or design related degree. Professional Interior design experience is essential, preferably from a show home background. Excellent organisation, written and spoken English, numeracy, computer and customer facing skills are also required. Freelance / Part Time or Permanent work, depending on the applicant, can be offered.

Computer skills must include competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. CAD and 3D modelling skills are desirable but not essential.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a unique, design led luxury interiors brand. The Company has its roots in designing and curating collections of furniture and accessories that showcase the finest in British design and craftsmanship.

This role requires the person to manage multiple projects from the pricing stage through to completion, ensuring that profitability and program is maintained and that the product fits the brief. It involves a high level of organizational skills, liaising with the workshop, sourcing of external suppliers and a good eye for detail whilst demonstrating a strong level of commercial awareness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and understanding technical construction drawings and product specifications
  • Attending internal, supplier and client meetings
  • The breakdown of projects into components, producing costing / budgets and formulating project timelines
  • Producing / coordinating tender packages for pricing
  • Reviewing quotes from multiple suppliers and comparing costs
  • Reviewing and signing off supplier / manufacturer drawings and specifications
  • Visiting workshops and clients properties to manage and review construction

Person / Experience Required:

  • AutoCAD (2D) and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel
  • Strong organisational skills and experience of handling suppliers

  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of financials

This Architectural and Interior Design Company has a strong reputation within the residential and property development marketplace for both private clients and for developers and also run their own separate interiors showroom. Two new opportunities have now arisen at their design studio for a Senior Interior Architect and for an Interior Architectural Design Manager.

The Senior Interior Architect will be working on all projects from concept stage, through the detailed design stage to completion. It is a design role with the focus on key internal design areas such as spatial layouts, furniture plans, lighting and electrical plans, reflective ceiling plans, kitchens, bathrooms, tiling design and selection and specification of architectural interior items such as stairs, joinery and ironmongery.

The Interior Architectural Design Manager will be managing all interior architectural projects with the design focus on key internal design areas and the management focus on: interfacing with colleagues and organising workflow and budgets; liaising with external design teams and contractors; risk assessment / management; design reviews and progress meetings.

Experience Sought:

Senior Interior Architect:

  • AutoCAD fluency (Revit an advantage) and at least 3 years' experience on residential design
  • Ability to work using your own initiative and juggle changing workloads and deadlines
  • Well-organised with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well-presented and personable, with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Own car essential and clean driving licence


Interior Architectural Design Manager:

  • AutoCAD and Revit experience and versed in industry best practices
  • At least 6 years' residential design experience
  • Management and leadership experience
  • Ability to work using your own initiative and juggle ever-changing workloads and deadlines
  • Well-organised with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well-presented and personable, with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Own car essential and clean driving licence

We are a leading German Kitchen Supplier to both the London and Surrey areas and are looking for an enthusiastic designer to join the team at our Flagship Surbiton Branch. The candidate must live within a 10 mile radius of the showroom with a full driving licence as site visits are an integral part of our work. Use of their own vehicle however, although preferred, is not essential.

The candidate should have experience in designing kitchens using a CAD software package and ideally will have worked with a German kitchen manufacturer either currently or previously. Person / Experience Required:

  • Self-motivated, highly creative and passionate about design
  • Experience in co-ordinating projects from initial site survey to installation
