Our client is part of the largest and longest established kitchen supply and manufacturing business in the UK with 500,000 sq.ft. of in-house manufacturing premises at their headquarters. They also have the industry’s best partnerships with World leading appliance, storage and material brands.
 
They have created the new role of Kitchen Sales Designer to be based at their group headquarters in County Durham. Here you’ll work closely with clients to craft entirely unique designs to suit and enhance their lifestyles. With no set ranges or styles, you can offer the most diverse and extensive range of design choices tailorable to each of your clients.
As the role will involve frequent travel, having a driving licence will be an essential requirement (a generous travel allowance will be provided).
 
There is excellent in-house training and continual support provided to help you build a successful career, as well as a highly attractive commission structure and the opportunity to thrive and develop.
 
Skills and experience for the Kitchen Sales Designer role:
  • At least 2 years' proven sales track-record within the premium kitchen/interior design arena
  • Strong design ability, proficient in the latest design software, with a knowledge and passion for the latest styles and trends
  • Highly personable and an efficient, professional communicator - both verbally and in the written form
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
  • A problem solver and lateral thinker who thrives under pressure
  • Motivated, with the ability to both self-manage and work as part of a team
  • Ideally, competent in using Winner and/or EQ software packages
 
In return there is a salary of £25k on offer along with up to £40k commission on top, a laptop and mobile phone, company pension and staff purchase scheme.

An enthusiastic Kitchen Sales Designer is needed to join this kitchen business in their large centrally based showroom.
 
You will be responsible for the selling and designing of their premium kitchens, from initial design concepts, through to completion of sale, for both private and commercial clients. As a Kitchen Sales Designer, you will be creative, with an aptitude for kitchen design and strong customer service. 
 
They are open to either an experienced candidate or a more junior one although you will still need to have had some exposure to the marketplace. They provide quality training and the opportunity to develop and hone your skills.
 
Skills and experienced required for the Kitchen Sales Designer role:
  • Personable and a great communicator
  • Ideally with previous kitchen design and sales experience from the upper end of the marketplace
  • Ability to liaise with consumers, trade and commercial clients on a daily basis

With an increase in business, they are seeking a Kitchen Designer / Interior Architect to join the team based in their showroom. In this role you will need to demonstrate a flair for creative solutions with both design and practicality in mind. You will have a fine eye for design and detail and be extremely thorough in the delivery of your projects.
 
Skills and experience sought for the Kitchen Designer / Interior Architect:
  • A knowledge and appreciation for fitted furniture, joinery and internal architecture
  • 2+ years’ experience on bespoke, handmade kitchens and/or fitted furniture 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • CAD user preferable (Revit or similar) 
  • Able to think for yourself and come up with practical solutions

The role will be working Monday to Friday with 2 Saturdays a month (day off in lieu). The Project Manager will also:

They currently have an opening for a Contract Kitchen Designer to work with their Housing Developer clients. You will be responsible for producing designs and estimates for developers from a client's own brief and architects' drawings.
Main duties of the Contract Kitchen Designer:
  • Liaising with Developers and the Sales Team
  • Producing accurate designs and estimates for kitchen layouts 
  • Preparing completed designs / estimates into a tender presentation
  • Scaling from Architects' drawings supplied by the Developer
  • Establishing an installation budget and plan within contract guidelines 
  • Undertaking showroom tours as and when required
Skills and experience for the Contract Kitchen Designer:
  • Familiar with scaling from plans and designing kitchens
  • Fully proficient using a CAD system (they use ArtiCAD)
  • Possessing creativity and design flair to create a functional, attractive kitchen from scratch
  • Understanding of kitchen component parts would be advantageous
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.) or similar
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Photoshop desirable but not essential
This role will be based in their Head-Office and they are looking for a Contract Kitchen Designer with a “can do” attitude and a friendly, sociable personality. In return you will be working Monday to Friday with no weekends as this is not a retail role and on top of your salary they have an employee benefits system and company pension contributions.

Our client is passionate about beautiful bathrooms and offer a carefully curated collection of bathroom furnishings and finishes. They sell products via their website, over the phone or by email. The items sold are a mixture of in-stock items and items that are made-to-order through a trusted network of craftsman and suppliers.

Due to the volume of sales and the growth of the business they are now looking for a senior manager to take over duties from the founder in managing the business processes and people for delivering customer orders; from the initial point of client contact through ordering and to final delivery and after sales care.

It is a full-time role and will require the successful candidate to work from the Head Office with appropriate Covid related protections. There will be some flexibility for home working and the possibility of a 4-day week for the right candidate.

Overall Responsibilities for the Business Manager:

You will be required to manage a team of 3 people which includes hiring, structuring and training more people as the company continues to grow over the next few years. Your priorities will sit equally in sales (providing clear information to customers and staff when dealing with customers) and in operations (all the processes that happen behind the scenes for the smooth ordering and delivery of products to customers). This role is all about managing people and processes and ensuring the business operates smoothly and will best suit someone who gets a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction from setting up and managing IT systems, data and processes.

General Employment Terms:

The roles will allow flexibility with some home working and although all the leads will be provided, you must be able to and be prepared to drive to visit customers' homes.
