In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of creating inspiring, trend-led designs that their customers will fall in love with. Drawing influence from travel, research and market insight, you’ll work across multiple fabrications to produce elevated, commercially aware collections. Our client is a globally respected designer and manufacturer of innovative furniture solutions for high-tech and office environments. With origins in the trading, command and control room sectors, they have evolved into a recognised supplier of stylish and functional workstations for modern offices - and they’re looking for a talented Product Designer to join their team.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Sales, Project Management and Installation teams, taking projects from initial brief right through to on-site installation. You’ll be part of a collaborative, skilled Design Team, producing all necessary design and technical documentation, and supporting Project Managers to ensure smooth project delivery. This is an on-site based role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure project success
  • Producing high-quality designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Working methodically to manage project workflows and deadlines

Recognized worldwide, they are currently recruiting for a Product Design Engineer. You will be working mainly on their lighting products full-time in their offices as part of a small design team. This will particularly suit a designer who has an appreciation of lamps and lanterns from the 17th to 19th centuries and also with interior design.


Essential skills, knowledge, and responsibilities:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience, comfortable producing highly detailed drawings of components, assembly and explosion based on original products.
  • Good proficiency with SolidWorks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing time-sensitive projects for both new collection launches and custom projects.
