As a Furniture Designer you will use your experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to be truly innovative and a blue-sky thinker. You will be translating your initial inspiration into design concepts that develop into commercially viable furniture that their customers will love to buy.
Having a love of design, the Designer will be fundamental during design meetings; be able to work to customer requirements for Residential bespoke pieces and coming up with new ideas and concepts for new ranges of Exterior Super Yacht Furniture.

Our client has been designing and making bespoke furniture, antiqued mirror and specialist finishes for more than twenty years for the high-end London and international markets. They work for leading interior designers, architects and private clients all over the world.
They currently have an opening for a Furniture Designer with excellent technical knowledge of furniture construction to join their design team.
They are seeking an individual who is a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Knowledge and experience of VectorWorks is preferable but they will consider other similar CAD programmes. They are open to the level of experience and salary will therefore vary accordingly.

This company is a specialist in architecture joinery and fitted furniture for historical and period properties. They work with a variety of beautiful buildings across the UK and abroad. Everything they design is completely bespoke, and their 12,000sq.ft. modern workshop houses a dedicated team of cabinet-makers and finishers.
They are currently seeking to fill a key role for the business so the successful candidate will need plenty of experience within the furniture and joinery sector in a client facing role.
It is important that you have knowledge and a firm grasp of historical furniture and architectural details both in a classical and contemporary setting.
