This well respected Interior Design practice works with both private clients and with developers on show homes and show apartments. They use the latest furniture, furnishings and accessories alongside delivering effective solutions from concept through to installation with a truly personal service.

With an ever busy workload they seek an Interior Designer to run showhome design projects from initial brief through to final installation.

Skill set and experience sought:

  • At least 1 years' design experience (ideally 3 years) to include showhomes
  • Able to manage a number of projects at any one time
  • Excellent communication skills to handle both suppliers and clients
  • Strong organisational skills are needed for planning and documenting projects
  • Fluency in VectorWorks for drawing up designs
  • Driving Licence as they are based in a beautiful but rural location

Senior Interior Designer - London - up to £55,000 (V03702)

This vibrant design and build company create and fit out bespoke high impact office interiors and seek a creative Senior Interior Designer to join their successful design team.

With offices based in West Sussex near the coast and London this position would be to become part of the London office with occasional trips to Sussex.

The role will have a wide variety of responsibilities as you will be taking projects from initially enquiry and concept pitch through to realisation of the design and drawing packages and on to installation and completion.

Objectives and requirements:

  • To produce and present pitches in a competitive environment
  • Develop the production of designs and specification criteria requiring good technical knowledge and skills
  • To carry out site surveys and use AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • You may be managing a small team of project designers so past supervisory experience will be preferred
  • Due to the responsibilities of the role you should have a commercial Design and Build background with workplace analysis experience a bonus
  • They seek an ability to bring innovative ideas to the table, challenge the brief and push the boundaries
  • Strong communication skills are needed including fluent written and spoken English

This interior design consultancy has a large portfolio of clients throughout the UK and Europe and are well known for their knowledge of workplace design. They are continuingly growing and expanding their team which has resulted in the need for a Mid-weight Designer to join it.

The offices are close to public transport and has close links to the M40, there is also the benefit of onsite parking.

As a designer you will be involved in the conceptual design, space planning, working drawings, designing of bespoke furniture and joinery, specifying, attending presentations, coordinating and liaising with contractors and suppliers, attending site meeting and completion of project.

Person / Experience Required:

  • 5 years' experience to include workplace design
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to illustrate creative and innovative solutions
  • Initiative with problem solving skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • The ability to take ownership and responsibility
  • Experience from concept to completion
  • Good product, furniture and finishes knowledge
