This Architectural and Interior Design Practice specialises within the residential marketplace with a full D&B offering including architectural services alongside interior design and their own dedicated showroom for furniture, furnishings, accessories and tiling.

They are currently looking to recruit both an Interior Architect and an Interior Designer to work on a variety of residential projects in and around the Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Fulham areas as well as the Rickmansworth and Northwood areas.

Interior Architect:

• 5 to 7 years (for a Midweight) or 10+ years of experience (for a Senior level)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, ideally also with Revit
• Highly proficient in the use of Excel & PowerPoint
• Experienced in designing spatial and furniture layouts, lighting and electrical designs, kitchen and bathroom designs, wardrobes and joinery designs, tiling designs
• Clean UK Driving Licence as needs to be able to readily visit project sites for taking measurements, liaising with project managers, contractors and subcontractors

Interior Designer:

• 5 to 7 years (for a Midweight level) or 10+ years of experience (for a Senior level)
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
• Highly proficient in the use of Excel & PowerPoint
• FF&E background on high-end residential including comprehensive product knowledge of European suppliers of furniture, fabrics, wallpaper etc.
• Clean UK Driving Licence as needs to be able to readily visit project sites for taking measurements, liaising with project managers, contractors and subcontractors

Salary will be dependent upon experience (£35k to £45k) with an end of year discretionary performance related bonus, 23 days holiday + bank holidays, staff discount scheme and company pension scheme. • Scenic and paint knowledge, carpentry and construction skills would be useful
• Good time keeping and communication skills, and be able to work with an adaptable, flexible and accommodating attitude
• Proactive with an enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive disposition and must be able to work well as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills along with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• IT competent, ideally able to use AutoCAD
• Knowledge of CNC and Laser cutting would be useful
• Driving licence
