Trainee Client Account Manager - North West England - negotiable (V03929)

Our client provides show home interior design and installation to the UK’s corporate property development sector, offering the market the most extensive design studio and largest full-time workforce on offer nationwide. 
 
Their Client Account Managers are the face of the business in the delivery of their service proposition to Clients. They develop, deliver and maintain Client relationships to deliver interior design show home initiatives and solutions. They are now seeking a Trainee Client Account Manager with on-the-job training for a strong, driven and creative salesperson looking to become a fully-fledged Client Account Manager in the future. 
 
This will be field based role covering the North-West with regular travel both regionally and occasionally nationally, as well as to the Head Office in Cheshire.
 
Experience and skills sought for the Trainee Client Account Manager role:
  • Previous sales and sales project management experience 
  • A full UK driving licence 
  • Experience in property development sales, associated construction industry supply or interior design sales 
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentational)
  • Able to operate self-sufficiently in a principally field-based role
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive plus the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good computer literacy
 
They are offering a good starter salary and business expenses with commission once initial training has been completed. They are a very friendly company with quarterly social events and an annual Christmas Shutdown taken as extra to standard holiday entitlement.

They work with a variety of beautiful buildings spanning Country and London Town Houses across the UK and abroad. Everything they design is completely bespoke and their 12,000sq.ft. modern workshop houses a dedicated team of cabinet-makers and finishers.
 
They currently have an opening for a Junior Creative Designer who has great digital skills and can create imagery for client presentations from CAD drawings and also assist the conceptual design team.
 
The ideal candidate will have illustrative, graphics and modelmaking talent and be passionate about interior design with a taste for period buildings and furniture. The role would primarily involve assistance with design presentations to clients, compiling technical drawings, product specifications and reference imagery into digital documents and producing striking three-dimensional visualisations through digital art software.
 
It is essential that presentation documents are highly professional and suitably attractive. They will also need to be pulled together to tight deadlines. Therefore, innate organisational ability and visual perfectionism are necessary. 
 
They also have an opening for a more experienced candidate with great concept design and drawing skills.
 
For both roles they are looking for knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Procreate and/or Sketchbook. This would ideally suit a candidate who has studied Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

An opportunity has arisen with this leading innovator in home beauty and personal wellness for a full-time Industrial Designer to join the team working on Beauty and Massage products.
 
The successful candidate will design new and innovative products and manage their development projects from concept through to mass production. This role will be a mix of home and office working.
 
The Product Designer Role also includes to:
  • Produce sketches, renders and 3D files to communicate design concepts
  • Create detailed CMF and Product Specification documents
  • Carry out visual / technical evaluations of product samples 
  • Contribute towards technical copy for instruction booklets and product marketing materials
  • Liaise effectively with quality compliance and legal teams to ensure all required standards for products are met and maintained
  • Oversee project timings to ensure on-time delivery
 
Skills and Experience needed for the Product Designer:
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Product Design or Industrial Design 
  • A minimum of 3 years' consumer product design experience
  • Excellent design communication skills (sketching, ideation, presentation)
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, Adobe CC and KeyShot (or equivalent)
  • A confident communicator with clear and concise written and verbal skills
  • A creative thinker, innovator and problem solver
  • A strong understanding of materials and manufacturing process, especially for plastics
  • Experience of app/software specification for connected products would be an advantage
 
Your portfolio will need to showcase a variety of skills and processes including research, mood boards, sketching, concept development, CAD and rendering.

This will include producing concept renders, reverse engineering and product design, and the generation of technical drawings for manufacture. 
 
The Assistant Product Designer will also be required to solve engineering problems should they arise and comfortably manage their own time and workload in a fast-paced design environment. You will be regularly communicating to a wider team as well as manufacturers. 
 
Skills and experience required for the Assistant Product Designer role: 
  • Educated in a relevant degree discipline such as Product Design or Design Engineering

They have a newly created role that they are looking to fill for a VectorWorks fluent Designer. Working from home you would need to live within a reasonable commute to visiting site when required, their clients tend to be within the Home Counties. The projects are mainly garden and landscape design, but their clients are increasingly asking them to then take on interior design projects which you could also be involved in.

This can be either a part-time or full-time position (hours reasonably flexible) with time deadlines based upon client / project requirements.

Responsibilities are varied but will include:

  • Creating garden and landscape visuals
  • Coming up with schemes and ideas

Skills and requirements needed for the Landscape Designer:

  • Currently working in a mid to senior level role
  • Ambitious, creative, motivated and flexible
  • Competent with VectorWorks, SketchUp, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

This family-owned business design, supply and fit prestige German and Spanish kitchens for some of the UK's leading home builders. They are an expanding company with 2 showrooms and require a Kitchen Designer to work out of their Head Office near the North Wales and Cheshire borders.

Duties will include managing the kitchen design process from start to finish, working with the External Sales Team and developers providing a range of kitchen design solutions and attending meetings as and when required.

Kitchen Designer Experience and Skills Required:
