This atelier studio and workshop design and fabricate individual sculptural pieces and limited-edition collections for interior decorators, collectors and private clients.
They are currently recruiting for a Design and Cost Estimator Assistant for the costing of materials and processes for the manufacturing of their Designs alongside providing admin and design assistance to the CAD Design team.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Design and Cost Estimator Assistant include:
- Negotiation with suppliers and organising samples
- Costing Database Management
- Regular price checking and sourcing of suppliers
- Raising and preparing quotations for Sales
- Interpretating design drawings and CAD files for supplier quotes
- Assisting the CAD Design team with VAULT upkeep
- Performing simple design requests using Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign
Skills and Experience for the Design and Cost Estimator Assistant include:
- Adobe Creative Cloud - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator plus AutoCAD
- A comprehensive understanding of materials and processes
- Able to interpret production drawings
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills
- Highly Numerate
- Strong organisational and negotiation Skills
- Adaptable, reliable and efficient

Daily duties:

Skills and Experience sought from the Interior Designer:

Our client is an international furniture company that work with private clients, architects, developers and interior designers providing an extensive choice of furniture including wardrobes, library systems, kitchen and furniture for the whole home.
Constantly busy, they are currently looking for a Designer and Project Coordinator to join their expanding team within the new bespoke division. The role combines design and technical skills with the ability to organise workload efficiently to facilitate the smooth running of the projects. You will be preparing drawings, presentations and quotations as well as managing live projects from design to completion, working both in the office and on site.
Duties and responsibilities for the Designer and Project Coordinator will include:
- Preparation of design proposals, preparation of technical prints, visuals and presentations
- Preparation of drawings and assisting with costings and quotations
- Liaising with architects, suppliers and contractors
- Handling CGI consultants to produce interior design concepts and visuals where needed
- Assisting with producing technical information and the presentation material to win the contracts and subsequently to manage the project to the highest standards to completion
- Assisting in the design phase, orders to the factory, checking confirmations, site visits and preparatory documentation for installations
Skills and Experience needed for the Designer and Project Coordinator role:
- 5+ years’ experience working on high-end projects in a design related project management role
- Knowledge of kitchens and wardrobes
- Strong project and time-management skills
- A good eye for Design, interest in Design trends and the design community
- Good presentation skills and ability to understand a brief and to explain and present ideas
- Accuracy and attention to detail when finalising prints and designs
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (space planning and joinery detailing)
- Experience in preparing quotations
- Proficiency with the Adobe CS for presentations
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials, and methods of surveying and inspection
- Experienced in set up of FFE schedules

Their range of services cover everything from exhibition stands, product launches and bespoke sampling stands to PR stunts, sampling bins and giant props.
They currently have an opening for a Production Manager responsible for the production team and ensuring the successful realisation, delivery and full end-to-end production process of all company projects.
Working closely with the creative and production teams to develop the physical materials and build process, you will be responsible for implementation and close monitoring of the project and production timeline, managing health & safety, project budgets, onsite operations and post-event evaluation.
Skills and Experience needed from the Production Manager:
- Strong organisation, time and people management skills

Our client is a family owned, high-end bespoke furniture maker creating cabinetry, upholstery, joinery, metalwork and finishing services all from their in-house production and manufacturing workshop.
As a growing business they are currently looking for an experienced Furniture Designer / CAD Technician with a flair for design to join their company.
The position will involve developing initial concepts through to final production and manufacture, so would suit candidates with a strong level of understanding of bespoke furniture.
Key responsibilities for the Furniture Designer will be to:
- Produce and design 2D/3D furniture models
- Produce detailed, technical working production drawings and packs for manufacturing
- Produce cutting lists, calculate material requirements, cost and prepare quotations
- Liaise with clients and order materials
- Manage and co-ordinate projects from enquiry through to installation
Skills and Experience required from the Furniture Designer:
- Previous experience working as a Furniture or Joinery Designer or a Technician with a good understanding of upholstery
- Proficient in SolidWorks and/or Rhinoceros 3D
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve technical challenges
- A broad knowledge of furniture construction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English
