This London based high quality bespoke joinery and cabinetmakers provide a complete service from concept through to manufacture and installation. Most of their projects are residential and with an increase in larger projects they are very busy and an additional member for the team.

As a Furniture Technician you will need to have a background in fitted furniture / joinery construction, time spent in a workshop would be beneficial as would some experience of interfacing with CNC machines. You will be required to produce a high standard of detailed technical drawings and liaise with the workshop and client.

Person / Experience Required:

• Fluency in SolidWorks and SketchUp essential
• 3+ years' experience of joinery / fitted furniture
• Able to hit the ground running with minimum training
• Good time management and efficiency, able to work to deadlines
• Punctual and reliable
• A good team player but self sufficient

They are now seeking a Furniture Designer to design bespoke projects from a client brief, but as it is all about the individual and their capabilities then they might consider instead a more junior designer or production engineer. If this were the case then additional training and support can be provided.

Person / Experience Required:

• The successful candidate will be fluent in interior space planning and the design of fitted furniture, kitchens and bathrooms
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in high end design projects
• You will need the ability to manage project financials and obtain quotations, and to manage external suppliers such as bespoke metal work and stone
• The candidate will need good knowledge of historical furniture and architectural details as well as a flair for contemporary design
• Other skills required include a basic knowledge of building structure, mechanical and electrical services, and site surveys
• The candidate will need to be AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficient, with good literacy and communication skills, both verbal and written
• If your skills are less creative then strong AutoCAD, SketchUp and / or Inventor will be needed to match a more technical role

• At least 6 years' interior design experience to include residential properties in the London marketplace
