All candidates should be able to produce accurate technical drawings for the production of bespoke furniture, be self-motivated, organised and a clear thinker. You will need at least 5 years’ relevant experience and be fluent in AutoCAD. An understanding of furniture construction would be an advantage as would knowledge of 3D programs, but not essential.

With an engineering / product design degree you should have strong experience (minimum of 7 years) in the design of fixturing display equipment or similar products using value engineering in metal, wood, plastics and print. You will need to demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a team of design engineers, with clear communication skills and be an organised, process driven Individual who can anticipate potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective action.

Our client specialises in the design of investment properties, showhomes and private residential projects. They have a comprehensive range of interior design services and can create and manage any project from designing or supplying a single item of furniture to undertaking a complete refurbishment. One of their designers is going on maternity leave at the end of February so they are looking for a designer experienced in showhomes and private clients for a years’ contract.

Applicants will need at least 3 years design experience to include both showhomes and private residential, have excellent communication and client facing skills and be extremely organised. IT literate, you should be competent in Powerpoint and CAD.

They are currently seeking an experienced person with technical knowledge of furniture construction and production methods to join their Production team as a Project Co-ordinator. The role will involve overseeing and managing the production of high quality bespoke furniture and interior products including developing briefs from clients, sourcing and liaising with suppliers, producing technical drawings and planning work schedules.

Candidates should be well organized, able to manage multiple projects and have a wide knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. You will need excellent 2D and 3D CAD skills with an eye for proportion, detail and design. In addition to practical skills you will need to be able to liaise with and source manufacturers and co-ordinate transport and logistical issues.

The designers have full project responsibility from start to finish, yielding a high level of job satisfaction.

With a minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential / hotel design, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, able to present to clients, both private and corporate. Articulate with excellent English, qualifications in design, you will also need a good knowledge of fabrics, furnishings and be spatially aware with an eye for colour and detail.

Pay and conditions are good and include an element of bonus based on company and individual trading results. Additionally they offer flexitime and 29 days hols (incl. Bank Holidays) rising to 33 days with service.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Product / Industrial Design with a minimum of 1 years work experience within a relevant professional environment. Knowledge of SolidWorks software is preferable although other 3D CAD packages will be considered. An interest in design, preferably within construction or architecture will be needed as will excellent communication, problem solving skills and attention to detail. This is a fast paced environment and therefore this is a role for a self-motivated, methodical person who demonstrates the ability to work both independently and within a team, on multiple projects simultaneously. With a degree in Product Design, you will be an enthusiastic and dynamic design professional with a keen interest in home technology. AutoCAD is essential with Sketchup / Microsoft Visio a distinct advantage.

They are currently seeking a CAD operator who can demonstrate that they are able to competently work within the high end residential market. The role is to be a catalyst to achieving accurate detail drawings incorporating design for manufacture and a key part is to be able to work with internal customers within the business.

With a background in manufacturing, you will need a working knowledge of Inventor or a similar 3D package and be competent on AutoCAD. Production management and a background in cabinet making would be an advantage.
