Our client is a busy Interior Design Consultancy looking to expand by taking on an experienced Showhome Designer. Working with independent builders and national builders you will be producing showhouses across the country.

Key day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Developing initial ideas and acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in detail with clients and setting project schedules
  • Sourcing and specifying products and materials according to set budgets
  • Researching and gathering information relating to the project
  • Producing comprehensive mood boards for presentation to clients
  • Having responsibility for multiple projects from design through to installation and styling
  • Preparing detailed working drawings, designs, plans and schemes
  • Supervising work at the design stage and on site
  • Keeping up to date with new developments and design trends within the industry
  • Working closely with the Design Director to create design concepts

Key Attributes:

  • A creative and imaginative designer with a minimum of one years' interior design experience
  • Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Excel and Word
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • An eye for design and colour with good 3D and spatial awareness
  • The ability to visualise concepts and explain them to others
  • Strong organisational skills, to ensure each project is completed on time and within budget
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Project management skills, including the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team on multiple projects

Every piece is made to order and they offer a bespoke service for one-off projects.

Due to expansion they are recruiting a Sales Administrator with the primary focus of sales administration and lead conversion, assisting the Sales Director with new leads, enquiries on pricing and the follow up lead processes. You will also support existing accounts and client orders. Training will be provided to ensure you are well versed in the company's products, ethos and systems. With this training you will build extensive product knowledge and be able to navigate a longer sale with ease.

They are looking for someone who is:

  • Perceptive, organised and numerate
  • Able to think quickly on their feet, articulate and passionate about excellent customer service
  • Has a high level of decisiveness, openness, friendliness and energy
  • Has an excellent telephone manner plus very good verbal skills.

As part of the expansion, they are looking to recruit another CAD Technician to join a growing team who lead the back-end of the production process. Fluency in Cabinet Vision will also be needed and an understanding of the Screen to Machine aspect of the program vital.

Communication skills will be important as the role can involve interacting with the Designers, the Head of Production or the Managing Director on a daily basis. The ability to manage your workload to achieve deadlines is also key.

We have an opportunity for a talented and creative Artworker to join our busy and vibrant design team. The role will be to create presentation artwork and Point of Sale, maintaining our brand image through material for print and our online presence.

Working pro-actively alongside the product design and development team you will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communications skills, the ability to cope well under pressure and work quickly and accurately to deliver optimal results at all times.

You must also have a strong working knowledge of design software packages in the Adobe Creative Suite. In particular Photoshop and Illustrator will be essential with a good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint as a benefit.
