What You’ll do as a Furniture Designer:

  • Take ownership of manufacturing procedures and specifications
  • Proactively solve design and production challenges
  • Produce technical drawings from hand sketches
  • Interpret space planning, elevations and detailed drawings
  • Research and specify materials and finishes for projects
  • Source and manage relationships with new suppliers and manufacturers
  • Conduct condition and quality control checks
  • Collaborate with suppliers, workshops, and artists
  • Generate renders and visualizations

About You as a Furniture Designer:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Furniture Design or related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in luxury residential and/or hospitality furniture design
  • Proven ability to manage projects from conception to delivery, including QC reporting
  • Skilled in MS Office, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino 3D, and V-Ray
  • Strong understanding of materials and production techniques with a variety of finishes
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, planning, and multitasking skills
  • Additional European languages are a plus

About the role
As a Junior Bespoke Joinery Designer, you’ll join a talented and collaborative team that both designs and manufactures custom joinery. You’ll be involved in all technical aspects of the process, from drawing up detailed manufacturing designs in SolidWorks to supporting material coordination and production planning. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend site surveys, ensuring accurate design development and helping shape smooth installation plans. Whilst you’ll begin by supporting senior designers, you’ll quickly gain exposure to clients and start managing your own projects as your confidence grows.

What they’re looking for:
They’re seeking someone with genuine passion for technical design and an eagerness to develop within the bespoke joinery or furniture sector.

Ideally you will have:

  • 1-2 years’ experience since graduation, with relevant SolidWorks and manufacturing knowledge

The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role that covers the full product development lifecycle. You will be responsible for taking products from concept and CAD modelling through to production documentation, packaging, and end-user instructions.

The role offers long-term development potential and may evolve to include management of the CAD department, working closely with teams across the business to implement procedural improvements and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities include to:

  • Work on custom orders and production drawing changes
  • Model machined parts, components, and sheet metal fabrications using SolidWorks
  • Produce detailed dimensioned part drawings, assemblies and configurations
  • Create exploded views and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support assembly
  • Develop clear user instructions and diagrams alongside packaging solutions
  • Source components and liaise with suppliers

Skills & Experience from the Product Designer:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience in product design or product development
  • Excellent proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Strong understanding of design for manufacture
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills

In return:

The Role
You’ll support the design team in producing drawings, schematics and technical documentation for premium residential AV projects, with full training and mentorship provided. Key Responsibilities for the Junior AV Designer include to:
  • Assist in producing AV designs, schematics, and layout drawings

Skills & Experience needed from the Junior AV Designer:

  • Ability to read technical drawings and some understanding of the RIBA stages
  • Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Revit and prior use of basic AV or lighting systems is a bonus but not necessity

  • Background in product design within a manufacturing environment
