An exciting new role has become available to join our growing design team. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Senior Interior Designer to work on a range of projects. We work alongside national and regional builders, property developers and private clients. Our team design, project manage and install show homes, marketing suites, retirement homes and private residential projects.

You should already have residential experience and also ideally have a background in or knowledge of show home design.

Skills / Experience

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in show home design
• Relevant degree or similar qualification
• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Able to interpret a client’s brief and work within set a budget
• Experience in being involved with projects from conception to completion
• Good interpersonal skills to work alongside the Junior Designers

This leading supplier of beautiful bespoke wardrobes and dressing rooms for luxury residential properties has a clientele from across the UK. They work from concept to installation, bestowing a personable approach with every design reflecting the individual lifestyle and storage needs of each client.

As an online business their website is their “shop front” and despite the current challenging economic conditions, they are thriving as a business and need to increase their design sales force to meet the demand for their products.

Based within 10 miles of Highgate your area will be covering North London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & parts of West London.  All leads will be generated in-house and you will be given an average of 40 enquiries per month to contact, arrange visits and convert into design and sales.

Person / Experience Required:

• A minimum of 5 years' proven experience in designing and selling within the luxury interiors sector (kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms or other fitted furniture)
• CAD literate, ideally VectorWorks, AutoCAD or ArtiCAD
• Happy and able to be mobile with your own presentable car to visit clients
• You should be well-presented to generate a first impression that creates confidence with their discerning clients
• Able to manage your own diary and arrange client visits
• A good listener to understand the specific storage needs, design and requirements of your client
• Creative and able to produce high-quality designs to achieve customer specifications and budget
• Meticulous and accurate to be able to take precise site measurements and relay your design solutions to the in-house Drawing and Quotation Team

In return:

They offer an attractive remuneration package for the right candidate. You will have a choice of:

• £25,000 basic plus 5% commission on sales
  No basic and a straight 10% commission on sales

Realistic OTE is £60k per annum, plus travelling expenses. You'll get extensive training and support for you to succeed and have the ability to work from home.

This exciting new role has just come in that would be suited to a creative Interior Designer who has plenty of residential experience and is interested in changing the way Show Homes have been traditionally designed.

The company is a well-established and growing interior design, show home and flooring business that have an in-house soft furnishing production facility and a flooring business. They also design and commission bespoke furniture for their clients and along with a first class fabric library, they utilise the latest design software and are always looking to innovate.

You will be working on your own projects from brief through to installation and will need good client facing skills and be able to work on quick project turnarounds.

Person / Experience Required:

• At least 4 years' relevant interior design experience
• An entrepreneurial all-rounder
• Excellent drawing and presentation skills
• IT literate with knowledge of the Adobe CS
• Organised with good project management skills

This family-run business has been working within the kitchen marketplace for many years and over the last couple of years has been refurbishing all of their Midlands based showrooms to a very high standard.

Due to natural growth and an increase in business again, they are seeking an additional Kitchen Designer. The role will allow flexibility with some home working and although all the leads will be provided, you must be able to and be prepared to drive to visit customers' homes.

Person / Experience Required:

• Strong and proven track record with at least 3 years' kitchen design and sales experience

• A natural flair for design, presentation and customer service
• Good IT skills and CAD literate (they use Compusoft Winner and EQ)

This has resulted in a vacancy for a skilled specialist finisher with a wealth of practical experience to join and potentially oversee the existing team there. The right candidate will help the company expand this side of the business and should be self-motivated, responsible and happy to be part of a wider team, sharing and learning new skills.

Skills Required:

• Gilding, Verre Eglomisé
• French polishing, painting, staining and colouring timbers
• Spray lacquering
• Decorative painting
• Gesso
• Experience in a similar cabinet making or finishing role is essential
• A restoration background is desirable

This company's Italian inspired designs for bespoke bedroom and bathroom furniture and state-of-the art manufacturing facilities have earned them an enviable reputation with major UK housebuilders and the A&D community.

Based on the West Sussex and Surrey Borders they are on the hunt for two experienced CAD Technicians with a proven track record and that understand joinery and manufacturing. You will be both developing concepts for housebuilders and taking design drawings from architects / interior designers to develop them into detailed manufacturing drawings and issue them to the CNC machinist.

Person / Experience Required:

• The successful candidates will be expected to undertake the development of bespoke furniture from concept stage through to manufacture, including material and component specifications, production of prototypes and drawings as necessary to suit the brief
• With at least 3 years' industry experience within a similar environment
• You will be competent in 3D software with good rendering skills an advantage
• Cabinet Vision a preference but not essential
• A high level of attention to detail will be expected and good technical draughting skills
• You will possess the interpersonal skills to maintain customer-facing relationships and be able to advise them on design finishes
