This fast expanding design consultancy with offices in SW London handle workplace, education and commercial interior design solutions, furniture specification and move management across the UK.

Thanks to a growing portfolio of projects, they are looking for a self-motivated Interior Designer, who is able to work on their own initiative, to join their Design team.

With good technical and space planning skills you will be required to produce 3D & 2D plans for their interior design projects, providing a competent level of AutoCAD and BIM modelling in Revit.

Other responsibilities will be to:

  • Create and expand their library of products in AutoCAD, Revit and product books
  • Maintain schedules, dealing with space planning and amendments
  • Resolve design related problems and flag up clashes
  • Undertake training as you work
  • Produce product presentations and marketing material

In return the successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary plus performance related bonus and will have the prospect of progressing to the position of Project Manager, with responsibility for running their own jobs.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 year's experience working with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Literacy in Excel (MS Office)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of UK furniture suppliers and working on large construction / education projects would be an advantage
  • Literacy in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would be an advantage

This small family run company specialise in Experiential Design, Production and Installation and are proud to count large brands and leading marketing agencies amongst their clients. They provide a range of services from exhibition stands, product launches and bespoke sampling stands to PR stunts, sampling bins and giant props and are theatrical in their approach. Based at their offices close to the borders of Essex and Hertfordshire, the Project Manager will be working as part of small Project Management team and the position would suit a candidate who wants to contribute to a growing enterprise and be part of a fun, family-led, often fast-paced production company. You will gain fast, hands-on experience quickly moving to handling smaller and then larger projects working directly with new and existing clients.

Person / Experience Required:

  • Background from a theatre based course ideally
  • Experience in Project / Production Management, Stage Management, Event Management and/or Technical Theatre
  • Project Management skills including working with a production workshop
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Able to manage and realise projects from costings for budgets through to installation
  • Must be able to effectively liaise with and manage clients and their expectations

Operating nationwide from their factory and offices just outside London, they offer total management of joinery packages, from initial site survey through to installation.

They are currently seeking an experienced Technical Designer to work with their progressive team of designers and makers.

Objectives / Requirements:

  • Creating concept designs, rendering in KeyShot and turning them into ready-to-manufacture technical drawings for the in-house joinery workshop
  • Producing complete and checked technical drawings using Solid Edge 3D design software (Fluency in SolidWorks will be considered)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy in take offs for CNC milling and other outsourced material production will also be required directly from the CAD drawings
  • Connecting with joiners to discuss and get feedback on the practicality of joinery items designed, so hands-on experience from the joinery sector is needed and hands-on knowledge of manufacturing and assembling would be desirable
  • A genuine interest in the marketplace and a willingness to take part in interdepartmental discussions

Competitive remuneration and paid over-time. 22 days holiday increasing by 1 day every 2 years to a maximum of 25 days. Lunch is provided by the company and there is parking space on the premises.
